All about the Gunite Pool Building Process

Gunite pools offers excellent structural strength and durability, making them a popular choice and a solid investment among homeowners.

1) Consultation & Design

Our experienced pool designers will listen to all your ideas and work with you to create your dream pool and spa.

2) Layout & Excavation

We layout the design, size and shape of the pool on-site for your approval and begin the digging process.

3) Plumbing & Electrical Installation

Plumbing lines, skimmers, and electrical supplies are added which includes wiring for certain pool features like in-pool lights.

4) Rebar Setup

Steel rebar frames are secured around the pool shell to protect from any cracks or defects.

5) Gunite Application

Using a high-pressure hose, the wet concrete mixture is added to the rebar to build the pools structure.

6) Pool Exterior

As the Gunite cures, tile or pavers are added around the perimeter, as well as other exterior features.

7) Pool Interior

The pool is cleaned and brushed to remove any plaster or dust particles. Water is now added to the pool.

8) Final Walkthrough

We do a full inspection of the pool, equipment, chemicals, and additional features to ensure proper functionality.
